[Whether or not he receives one, Cecil will soon leave the house to visit the weapon shop. Then, spear in hand, ravens at his side, he'll patrol the village looking for either people he knows or terribly bloody battles. He's not very picky about it.]

[After several failed attempts at speaking, and long after clearing out of the house, y'know because they're all the sort to stab monsters first, ask questions later sort of people, Ceodore finally manages to turn loose of the butcher knife long enough to write a question.]

[Ceodore nods while eying the spear. He knows he's stuck packing a sharp weapon, it wouldn't surprise him if half the house decided he needed to be a practice target.]

At least you were given a knife to defend yourself. A fairy I've met earlier only received a rod she cannot use.

[Not much consolation there. He's a cute green thing with a knife. One that's way too small to reach anything edible in the kitchen and dammit, he's a growing boy who needs to eat all the time!

[Blink. How'd he do that? Wasting no time though, climbing onto the swan, trying to be careful with that infernal knife.]

[Did you have to take the knife along? ): Nevermind, off they go through the window. The village becomes pretty small pretty quickly, and Cecil circles it few times happily.]

[One benefit of being a small green thing, no airship hair! Fortunately no Porom around to nag about that either. Ceodore cheerfully forgets that he's not himself for the sake of being able to enjoy flying again. Too bad he can't talk to say so.]

[Even without words, Cecil understands the feeling perfectly. Being able to fly erases every disadvantage to this experiment, including the genderbending part of it. And since flying over the mountains and the ocean felt wonderful the first time, that's where he'll go again.]

[It's still hard to believe that ocean used to be that scorching desert he awoke in. Ceodore leans over for a better view, coming perilously close to falling off.]
