3rd moon [written/action]

[The message in the journal is short, sweet, and to the point.]

I have breasts, and I have birds. May I please receive an explanation for this?

[Whether or not he receives one, Cecil will soon leave the house to visit the weapon shop. Then, spear in hand, ravens at his side, he'll patrol the village looking for either people he knows or terribly bloody battles. He's not very picky about it.]

[The swan cheerfully calls out before leaving Cecil in its place.]

There certainly is. I cannot talk under that form, but being able to fly is more than worth the inconvenience.

Perhaps that explains the bird motif.

It is odd that you cannot speak though. Not that it hasn't happened before, but given that we can understand other animals speaking... it just seems somehow arbitrary.

Whether or not we can be understood in those forms is rather arbitrary, from what I can tell. That little greenish bug could not speak, but the bed could.

... Someone has been transformed into a bed. [It would be a question, but it's stated too flatly, kind of like he just said "what".]

I suppose it's not that much stranger than a mimic...

A sleeping bed, even. Poking it with a spear was not enough to wake it up. Perhaps there exist living chairs and living tables, too?

That sounds like a very unpleasant existence. I wonder if the bed can at least move.

It could shift and shake a little, at the very least. It might have greater mobility when it's fully awake.
