I have breasts, and I have birds. May I please receive an explanation for this?

[Whether or not he receives one, Cecil will soon leave the house to visit the weapon shop. Then, spear in hand, ravens at his side, he'll patrol the village looking for either people he knows or terribly bloody battles. He's not very picky about it.]

[Mogget has yet to be affected by the experiment, so Cecil might see a white cat staring calculatingly at his birds as he leaves the weapons shop. Said cat is probably deciding whether angry-looking ravens are worth the effort.]

[He does indeed see the cat, and while he'd be more than happy to be rid of the birds (though a part of him likes them, feels a kinship to them-), he feels he has to warn the poor thing.]

I'd not try it, if I were you. From what I can tell, they're rather bloodthirsty.

[Talking to a cat feels strange, but he can understand animals here. Maybe it goes both ways?]

[Why yes it does work both ways. And Mogget is about as far from a poor thing as it is possible to get.]

I see. Are they yours? [He doesn't like the look in those beady eyes at all.]

[Fine. He has to warn the not-poor thing that is not likely to get a meal out of these.]

I believe they are supposed to be, but I've never seen those birds before.

[Might he get some satisfaction out of chasing them, perhaps?]

So you have no explanation as to why you are now suddenly being followed by a flock of ravens.

One of my housemates is now a stuffed toy, and I've seen at least one dragon.

A stuffed toy. Really. It seems that they have a convoluted sense of humor, these Malnosso.

At least this'll be over within a week, if everyone else is to be believed.

These experiments usually are. Though it wouldn't hurt to be prepared for the worst.

Luckily, this body is just as funtional as mine. Even if this lasts longer, I'll have few problems adjusting.

Hn. It would be a terrible pity if, upon hearing that, the Malnosso added an extra catch, wouldn't it?
