3rd moon [written/action]

[The message in the journal is short, sweet, and to the point.]

I have breasts, and I have birds. May I please receive an explanation for this?

[Whether or not he receives one, Cecil will soon leave the house to visit the weapon shop. Then, spear in hand, ravens at his side, he'll patrol the village looking for either people he knows or terribly bloody battles. He's not very picky about it.]

[[ooc: Cecil is now a valkyrie! ...A relatively modern valkyrie, in fact. considering some of his powers. Comments will come from [info]lunarvalkyrie .]]

Unquestionably an experiment. The nature of it I've yet to ascertain.

[Golbez's voice is... strange. The echo is gone, and it seems to have gotten several octaves higher. It may not even be recognizable, especially as the journal doesn't display a picture.]

[On the one hand, the voice is completely different, and without his Lunarian blood Cecil does not get that familiar ping of brotherly recognition. On the other hand, that person definitely speaks like Golbez.]

The change must be very deep. I cannot even feel Ceodore's presence.

That is not entirely surprising. Though I have to wonder what he's been transformed into.

... You may recognize my form.

[Golbez finally comes into view as he manages to climb up to his journal.]

[Cecil tries very hard not to laugh. Really, he does. But he's not completely successful.]

A H-hummingway? How nice- ahahahahahaha!

[Okay, not successful at all. Sorry.]

[Golbez calmly waits for his brother's amusement to subside. No obvious grumpiness or offended tone from this big brother, because frankly, he kind of finds it funny too.]

This is going to be a very strange week.

[It's the contrast between usual Golbez and cute little Hummingway, mostly. Also, that one piece of fanart.]

It'll have its high points, too. In fact, in that form, you might even be able to enjoy it along with me.

[voice]

[identity profile] cladinthedark.livejournal.com 2011-03-27 09:35 pm (UTC)(link)
[Cecil has... disturbingly less contrast. Seriously little bro why is it so easy to make you a woman? I am unaware of this fanart you speak of.]

What makes you say that?

[voice]

[identity profile] lunarvalkyrie.livejournal.com 2011-03-27 09:45 pm (UTC)(link)
[Oh, you'll see more contrast soon enough. Reaaaaally.]

You're now small enough to climb on my back.

[voice]

[identity profile] cladinthedark.livejournal.com 2011-03-27 10:15 pm (UTC)(link)
[That's an... interesting promise. Yeeeep.]

... Yes, that I am. Am I to assume that there is a reason I would want to do so?

[voice]

[identity profile] lunarvalkyrie.livejournal.com 2011-03-27 10:21 pm (UTC)(link)
[As his answer, Cecil merely smiles. Except it's not really Cecil anymore, and no one can really tell when a bird is smiling.

He beats his wings happily. Feel like flying?]

[voice]

[identity profile] cladinthedark.livejournal.com 2011-03-27 10:27 pm (UTC)(link)
[He raises an eyebrow. Okay, you've got him there bro.]

Fascinating. It seems there's quite the silver lining to your first experiment.

[voice]

[identity profile] lunarvalkyrie.livejournal.com 2011-03-27 10:31 pm (UTC)(link)
[The swan cheerfully calls out before leaving Cecil in its place.]

There certainly is. I cannot talk under that form, but being able to fly is more than worth the inconvenience.

[voice]

[identity profile] cladinthedark.livejournal.com 2011-03-28 03:10 pm (UTC)(link)
Perhaps that explains the bird motif.

It is odd that you cannot speak though. Not that it hasn't happened before, but given that we can understand other animals speaking... it just seems somehow arbitrary.

[voice]

[identity profile] lunarvalkyrie.livejournal.com 2011-03-28 03:50 pm (UTC)(link)
Whether or not we can be understood in those forms is rather arbitrary, from what I can tell. That little greenish bug could not speak, but the bed could.

[voice]

[identity profile] cladinthedark.livejournal.com 2011-03-28 05:09 pm (UTC)(link)
... Someone has been transformed into a bed. [It would be a question, but it's stated too flatly, kind of like he just said "what".]

I suppose it's not that much stranger than a mimic...

[voice]

[identity profile] lunarvalkyrie.livejournal.com 2011-03-28 08:06 pm (UTC)(link)
A sleeping bed, even. Poking it with a spear was not enough to wake it up. Perhaps there exist living chairs and living tables, too?

[voice]

[identity profile] cladinthedark.livejournal.com 2011-03-28 08:10 pm (UTC)(link)
That sounds like a very unpleasant existence. I wonder if the bed can at least move.

[voice]

[identity profile] lunarvalkyrie.livejournal.com 2011-03-28 08:13 pm (UTC)(link)
It could shift and shake a little, at the very least. It might have greater mobility when it's fully awake.
