7th moon [voice/action]

...Has anyone else ever found a particular item in the shop, and thought that it must have been placed there to taunt you? Would the Malnosso even commit such a petty act? At least it should match the pansies...

[With that said, Cecil can be found at any point on the road between the item shop and house 32, bearing... a flower in a small vase?]

They do seem to have a rather eccentric sense of humour, if it can be called that. It could simply be malice and sadism.

[Even if he sleeps on them?]

I've learned a long time ago that bureaucracy can be found anywhere. That it would also apply to the afterlife is not too surprising.

Yet they do, need or not.

I'm sure they will. Don't worry.

A sadistic sense of humour is better than none~

[Were she aware of the flower's origins and what not sooner, she might have found it amusing herself.

That would be awfully uncomfortable. Even so, he can't sleep forever!]

Whilst bureaucracy might be found in most places it does not necessarily mean all will work out. Were I in charge of the afterlife I would have fired that Yama's subordinate long ago for slacking off.

Cecil... I'll be fine.

There are always a few stubborn people who care little about others.

I'd much prefer it if their sense of humor was normal. Or even simply centered on bad puns.

[Unless Rydia casts Sleep on him.]

I suppose there'd be no way for you to rise up the ranks and be in charge unless you died first, in these circumstances.

Oh, that's just because they don't understand yet. [Hers is an optimistic nature.]

[identity profile] floralphantasm.livejournal.com 2011-08-07 04:00 pm (UTC)(link)
'Normal'? How boring! I think I would much rather prefer this apparent sadistic sense of humour they have now. Though I have yet to experience any ploys and plots of the Malnosso myself yet.

[She'll just have to hit him and wake him up with a frying pa- ...jahgkjsgh!!]

I would not want to reign over the Higan anyway. If I already surpass the power of a Yama, I would see no need in becoming one myself.

If you are particularly lucky, it'll be something as simple as being transformed into a flower for a week. But quite a few of their experiments are much less kind.

[Exactly. It's the unending loop from hell.]

Not even simply to have the chance to fire that subordinate? If their work ethics cause trouble...

Yet, that last percent... It seems to come into play much too often, for all of us.

[identity profile] floralphantasm.livejournal.com 2011-08-08 12:56 am (UTC)(link)
That doesn't sound bad at all, being a flower. Anything other than that I will just have to take in my stride, assuming anything of the sort happens to me of course.

[...Fine, Sporky Paladin. You have won. Enjoy your exp and drops.]

I could do a lot better than merely firing her if I wanted to as I am now, but why end things early? The Yama seems to keep her around only to scold her anyway.

[She's at an impasse with things back home really. Sure that subordinate can't work for peanuts, but it's her incompetence that keeps things interesting, to be blunt... But anyway.]

This is an awful tangent we have gone off at. Talking about my world when you were explaining your own originally. [Gesturing to the flower, which is honestly much more interesting than his world to her, but she's being polite. Also, a quick curtsy to serve as an introduction.] Yuuka Kazami.
lostinmyway: (Stillness.)

I'm sure they'll understand in the end. After all, it's very important.

You have more faith in them than I do. I can think of a few hopeless cases.

[personal profile] paladinlost 2011-08-09 12:05 am (UTC)(link)
However, a flower would be at the mercy of the elements, or that of the other villagers. Unless your world has plants that can defend themselves?

[...Echo Herbs, of course.]

Ah, but tangents can become the most interesting discussions, as long as they catch everyone's interest. Still, I'm forgetting my manners. My name is Cecil. Cecil Harvey.

[He bows elegantly.]

It's a pleasure to meet you.

We'll train thrice as hard for next time, to be certain of it. We should also practice bands, just in case.

[identity profile] floralphantasm.livejournal.com 2011-08-09 12:26 am (UTC)(link)
The plants of my world cannot defend themselves, at least without my help they can't. But should any insolent villager do anything to me whilst in such a state, I shall have to repay whatever is done to me tenfold.

[Alternatively, gysahl greens!]

I guess so. I must have found some aspect of this conversation appealing to have talked for so long. [Again. That flower.] It has certainly been an 'experience' meeting you Cecil.

Additionally, would I be correct in saying you are human~? [Because he looks pretty human. And she ragged on humans before and got little to no reaction.]

I agree, we could do with more intense training... and I would try more of the bands with you as well.

I'll have to tell my housemates to be very careful around flowers during experiments, then. Saving a few minutes by walking through a flower field would not be worth such reprisal.

[Those have been dummied out, actually]

I find that most meetings are interesting experiences, and so are conversations. But yes, I am indeed mostly human. Why do you ask?

['Mostly' would be the important part, of course.]
