[Luceti, Cecil has a question for you.]

Which would be easier to prepare: a roast, a stew or a meat pie?

[...Along with one that is slightly less horrifying.]

Also, after a mission, would you rather take the immediate rewards or the points we can trade? Those patches that can hide us from the droids look useful, but that '80%' of theirs is far from reassuring.

It shouldn't be too difficult.

I've only just heard of them... what do they entail, exactly? Do you know much about them?

We work for them in exchange for points or goods from our worlds, more or less. We can retrieve corpses, battle their foes, willing participate in experiments... They seem to want as many people as possible to participate.

Hm. I'm not sure I like that so much. It doesn't sound... very good to us.

At least participation is voluntary. That's a step up from the drafts, if nothing else.

Yes. Do they tell you what exactly you're volunteering for before you agree?

We know the type of mission, and they do offer approximative lengths and destinations. Everything beyond that is probably told to us only as we participate.

I suppose that's better than nothing. [ she still doesn't like it. ]

Even worse conditions might be worth it, for the chance to earn certain rewards.
