[As far as accidental voice messages go, this one is simple enough.

All that can be heard is the journal falling to the ground, and Cecil screaming in pain.

One cannot be expected to take the sudden and brutal loss of a somewhat telepathic father-son connection gracefully, after all.]

[He sighs softly.]

[And now his other hand is finished. She gets up and rinses out the cloth again, then leaves it by the sink. Now it's time to find some bandages.

But before she gets too far in her (rather aimless) rummaging about, she looks back.]

Cecil? When Ceodore comes back, I'll keep looking after him. I promise.

[He starts looking his hands over, only now truly seeing the damage he caused them. Had he been so distracted...? Still, he looks up when she speaks.]

...Thank you. As long as you do, I know he'll be safe.

[She keeps looking, but at this point, she's on the verge of forgetting what she's trying to find.]

I'll watch out for when he comes back, too, and I'll tell you as soon as I see him.

If we all keep an eye out, we should find him the moment he returns.

[He'd rather not waste a single second with him, next time.]

That would be good. I'm sure he'll be happy to see everyone.

[She abandons her search for...whatever it was, and turns back to simply look at Cecil. Unless he's bleeding again, there isn't anything else she can do to help him with his physical injuries.]

Especially those he'll not have the chance to see at home.

[Luckily, he stopped bleeding some time ago. He tries a Cure again on his left hand, but with a little results as before.]

[She watches him, troubled, then turns to watch his blood off her hands. There isn't anything else she can do.]

Yes, I'm sure he'll want to spend lots of time with them.

We might have to pry him and Selphie apart with a crowbar if we wish to speak to either of them.

[That would have been a jest, normally; today, it's merely a neutral observation.]

[No matter how he intends it, she still doesn't understand.]

Of course, now that they'll know the pain of separation.

[She goes to dry her hands.]

Well...when they see each other again, they'll be very happy.

[He tries another Cure; it's no more successful than the previous one.]

[She comes back to his side and enfolds him in a hug.]

I'm sure it will be. And when he comes back, we can all have a party.

[He hugs back, and lets his head fall on her shoulder.]

...A large one, even if he finds them embarrassing.

[Gently, she sets one hand on the back of his head, cradling him against her.]

I think he would like a large party when he gets back, so he wouldn't have to wait to see everyone again.

I think we'd need the whole Welcome Center for that.

That would be nice. Then all his friends could come right away.
