15th moon [voice]

[As far as accidental voice messages go, this one is simple enough.

All that can be heard is the journal falling to the ground, and Cecil screaming in pain.

One cannot be expected to take the sudden and brutal loss of a somewhat telepathic father-son connection gracefully, after all.]

Ursula is the princess and heir of the monk kingdom of Fabul. However, as she was raised as a sort of niece figure for Edge, I doubt such a marriage would happen.

[In fact, he always thought she'd end up with his son.]

Hm. Well, I've never really heard of marriages within a family or with family figures so I doubt such a thing would happen here either. I think one monk lead a ninja lifestyle and changed the world and the monks just lived and continued peacefully while the world around them changed. But, I don't know too about monks so I can't really say for sure.

Moving from a monk's life to a ninja's sounds like a great step to take... Are his reasons for doing so known, or were they lost in history?

He originally wanted to use his talents about chakra and ninjutsu for peace. He traveled the world teaching his life style - the shinobi sect - which eventually became known as ninjutsu and lost all religious connotation. He wanted to use the wisdom you could acquire with it for peace instead of war.

That's a lovely goal to have, though those rarely achieve their full potential. Is his story well remembered?

Well, most ninja know about him so yeah, his story definitely is well remembered. A ninja worth their salt should know about him!

In that case, Edge should hear about him whenever he can, whether or not this is a point we have in common.

You really think he would have heard of him even if our worlds have nothing in common?
paladinlost: (soft)

[personal profile] paladinlost 2012-02-19 10:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Perhaps not, but he could still learn much from that story.

[personal profile] weaponry 2012-02-20 11:23 am (UTC)(link)
Well, I wouldn't be objected to teaching him the story.

That would be quite kind of you, miss.

It'd be an honor to talk to him. Is he here?
paladinlost: (peaceful)

haha

[personal profile] paladinlost 2012-02-22 02:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Not at the moment, but considering the number of people from my world here I doubt that'll last.

Hm… Well if he ever shows up, let me know or direct him to me, okay?

[ she pauses. ]

Also, if you have a bunch of people in your world, are there higher chances that more from the same world will show up. [ this totally has to do with Lee and Neji.. ]

[personal profile] paladinlost 2012-02-23 06:13 pm (UTC)(link)
I think so. Certain worlds seem more popular than others with the Malnosso. It cannot hurt our chances, at the very least.

So the more people from our own worlds, the higher of a chance we have for them showing up? Got it. [ She ponders on the news before continuing. ] Does this mean the inverse is true? We have a higher chance of people going home?

[personal profile] paladinlost 2012-02-27 06:11 pm (UTC)(link)
...I've no idea. Ceodore was the first person from my world to leave since I arrived.
weaponry: (It's okay Neji)

[personal profile] weaponry 2012-02-28 11:04 pm (UTC)(link)
And he just left [ 1 1/2 months ago. ] now right? That's unfortunate. The first person to leave when I arrived was the Kazekage, or leader of the sand village, from home. Also, a person left just as I arrived, oddly enough.

Just as you arrived? I've only rarely heard of people disappearing during waves of New Feathers. How strange indeed.
