Did... did we fail? Did that being somehow kill us all?

[The video post must accidental, because it shows a naked, pale male chest. It looks like someone is holding his journal against himself in a desperate attempt to ward off the cold.]

I cannot remember him attacking... Perhaps I hit my head? But would the afterlife not heal such wounds? [The sound of rustling hair.] No blood, and no swelling. Perhaps the wound can be healed, but the amnesia cannot? ...I suppose it matters not, in the end.

[His feet barely make any noise on the ground, but his body is obviously moving, even from such a close range.]

I should be thankful I appear to be the only one present at least. Perhaps Ceodore and the others have survived... As long as this crisis is averted, my death is an acceptable price to pay. But still, I’d hoped...

[But whatever he’d hoped, he does not say.]

...I should try to find my sword and shield. This afterlife might not be as pleasant as it appears to be.

If their ranges are relatively similar, I assume the two of us are on the same planet, then.

[he blinks, then nods] You're in a place called Luceti, both of us are.

[oops. guess he didn't know yet]...Wings. Everyone has them.

There is no place named Luceti on my planet, or on either of the moons. Could this be one of the other planets he was talking about?

...And you are completely certain we are not in fact dead.

There's not one on mine either- [oh wait]...He?

I'd like to think so. I don't remember dyin' before waking here.

The man responsible for my world's current suffering. He spoke of planets and crystals and experiments.

Neither do I, but it is quite possible, considering the circumstances.

Kefka? [it didn't really sounds like him, but the 'world's suffering' part got to Locke]

It's something to think about, but I'm still pretty doubtful.

The name Kefka is not familiar to me. He called himself the Creator. He could call monsters from other worlds through crystals.

In that case, how were we brought here? Was it through some sort of Teleport spell?

Then our worlds must be different. Kinda like a summoner eh?

[he frowns a bit] Sorry. I can't tell you anything there, even I'm not sure how we got here.

Somewhat, though he seemed to have made no pacts with the creatures he called.

[well he'll try to give a reassuring smile back, first getting here can be pretty shocking] My name's Locke. Who am I talkin' to?

My name is Cecil. Cecil Harvey. [He does his best to smile back.] It is a pleasure to meet you, though the circumstances are admittedly not the best.

Nice to meetcha! [he pauses, the name sounded familiar...and then it clicks] You probably don't remember but I talked to you once before.

You did? [Thinking, thinking...] I apologize. I fear I do not remember our meeting.

We did. Kinda. [nevermind the fact that last time he talked to Cecil, Cecil was in Rosa's body and Locke was a treasure chest. but let's not mention that shhh]

Some times people return here for a second time but don't remember anything when they come back. I've been told I've been in Luceti before, but I don't remember it.

So many experiences and memories we cannot recall... Perhaps we'll both remember them someday.

That'll be nice. But I guess all we can do now is rely on what other people say.

I'd wager to say you found some help already?

At least few people have any reason to lie to us. I doubt they'll give us wrong information.

[He nods.] My son and a few friends have contacted me. We are to meet soon.

It's kinda crowded, but not very vast. Unless you meant the world of Luceti, then in that case I'm usually seen wanderin' around!

Have you seen anything particularly interesting during your wanderings?

Have you had a chance to meet with the talkin' animals?

...I've not had the occasion. Are they common?

Here they are, though I'm not to use to 'em yet. Sometimes you can understand 'em, sometimes you can't.
