2nd moon [voice]
No good, they don't have... How does this even work? I'll stay away from it for now...
[Rummaging noises come from the journal, numerous but careful. It sounds like someone is exploring the item shop.]
I apologize for bothering everyone, but could anyone recommend objects that are helpful to a household? Specifically, objects that are necessary for a new arrival or that can keep the house organized and clean. I'm not familiar with most of the products I find here, and I'd rather not bring anything that is useless or dangerous home. I'd be most thankful for your help.
[He falls quiet, and for a few moments only the sounds of items being moved can be heard. It appears his message is over, but-]
Also, Ceodore. What blade are you currently using?
[With that, his post is truly over.]

[action]
[Happens a lot around here. People come and go.]
[action]
[He sounds saddened by this.]
[action]
[He'd say you get used to it, but honestly... you don't. Sigh.]
It's been harder for Selphie. She's really sociable and some of her really close friends have been sent home.
[action]
[action]
["... what if one of us is the next to go." He can't begin to imagine living without her now and he wouldn't want to. Smitten princeling is smitten.]
[action]
...If you worry too much, you won't enjoy the time you spend together to its fullest.
[action]
[Ceodore looks away and falls silent, trying to decide if he really feels like he should admit to what's been on his mind for a while. Before he can stew on it too much, he just blurts it out, although he just can't bring himself to look at his father in the process.]
I want to take her home with me.
[That might be a sideways admission of how he feels about Selphie.]
[action]
Have you asked her about it? Remember, she does have a life, friends and family in her world. She might not be willing to give that up, even if it is for your sake. You'd be asking her to follow you to a world she does not know, possibly with no way to see her home again.
[action]
[Because he's afraid of the answer. Afraid of exactly what Cecil brought up, that she may not be willing to give up her friends and her home.]
There was an experiment last month and...
[He's turning red. Very very red. For good reason.]
I asked her to marry me. She's not ready. I'm not either. But I can't take it back. And I won't use the experiment as an excuse.
[action]
Even an engagement is a serious commitment, Ceodore. You are certainly not ready to marry, and that you know so proves that you can be trusted with such a decision. However, there is always the possibility that you will not be able to bring her home, and there is also the possibility that she will refuse even if you can. What will you do, if that happens?
[Choose your answer carefully, because it is very important.]
[action]
I don't know...
[The very thought is too depressing to dwell on enough to come up with any sort of reasonable decision.]
[action]
...You'll need to think about it, before you ask her. It would be unfair to request an answer when you have none to give. Think of the possible outcomes, decide how you would react to them, and prepare an explanation for your decisions. Listen to her own decisiond, and try to compromise if your goals are different. As long as the two of you think it through, you should be fine.
[And he really, really wants you both to be fine.]
[action]
[action]
[He doesn't want to the two of them to be torn apart by an abrupt departure, without having the chance to talk. He knows it'd break the other's heart.]
[action]
I won't.
[action]
[He smiles at Ceodore, but it quickly turns into a small frown.]
Oh dear. I'm afraid the pizza has gone cold.
[action]
[Totally grabbing some now. Thanks for the reminder that it's time to refuel the bottomless pit.]
[action]
[...With the microwave, of course! :D]
[action]
[Since Rydia's not around to enforce the microwave ban...]
[action]
[He takes the pizza and saunters off toward the microwave. Oh dear.
...The good news is, the microwave does not blow up or find itself otherwise damaged. The bad news is, by the time he's done with it, that pizza is going to be wayyyyy overcooked.]
[action] AMY TOLD ME TO.
Okay, what's burning? Did we kill another one?
[action] HEY THERE!
...The microwave looks perfectly fine, from what I can tell.
