Do you favor a particular color of ink? Or do you use what you find?

Colour? I've only ever used black.

It does seem to be the most popular. That would explain the dust on the other bottles.

I guess the other colours would really only be used if you were painting.

Then again, some of the items here are of much brighter colors than even the lightest ink. Of course, with such colors one would have to worry about blinding everyone in the village...

I do not know. The tip is made of felt, and all of the available colors are similarly bright.

I see... those certainly will attract a lot of attention easily.

Especially the pink and the orange. I've rarely seen such vivid colors on paper.

Did you have a special reason for looking for them?

I'm taking part in a project to help arrivals who have returned without their memories, through letters from the friends they've made here. Thus, I'd like to know what everyone uses to write.

That actually does sound like a great idea!

Thus, some of the arrivals will know who they can trust in this world, and make new friends more quickly. It should ease their adjustment period.

Rydia is helping me find space for it in the Welcome Center, to make it accessible to everyone.

Oh? How exactly is this going to work? You're going to set up a place for people to write and receive their letters?

Yes. The letters will be written down in a book set on a desk. That'll make them slightly less private, but it'll reduce the chance of losing them, and allow people who return multiple times to read them again.

I see. So how much of it is all set up already?

We still need to find the exact location, determine how many writing instruments to keep nearby... I also need to see if any of these are incompatible with the book's pages, just in case, and there was talk of bringing it to the ceremony for those who have left.
