My, it appears quite a few people are feeling unwell these days.

[Not that Cecil himself sounds remotely unwell. In fact, he seems to be surprisingly cheerful today.]

I'm afraid I cannot help everyone with that. However, a small dinner for the whole family should definitely cheer a few people I know up, don't you agree? Please show up promptly. I'd rather not have to drag you back home if I can avoid it.

[Ceodore shoots a look at both of them, giving Frey a pointed stare for his choice in clothing. Selphie gets a tender kiss on the forehead and then Ceodore's out the door to take care of business. Seriously. What. The. Hell?

The second he steps out of the clinic, he teleports over to the house and just stares at his Father, arms folded over his chest.]

[Cecil must have expected his arrival, because his sword is at his side. His smile is more than slightly mad.]

Come to finish what you could not manage last time, have you? My own son, betraying me once more. Even family cannot be trusted.

[This is likely to get messy. Ceodore left for the clinic intended to stay parked by Selphie all day so is currently unarmed and unarmored as well. He's too busy staring in disbelief to even respond to the madness or looming threat implied in those words.]

What's happened to me? Why, I've been betrayed by my son, my wife, my brother, my best friend and nearly everyone I care about over and over again, of course. They abandon me, they betray me, they attack me... I'll not let that happen again.
