7th moon [voice/action]
...Has anyone else ever found a particular item in the shop, and thought that it must have been placed there to taunt you? Would the Malnosso even commit such a petty act? At least it should match the pansies...
[With that said, Cecil can be found at any point on the road between the item shop and house 32, bearing... a flower in a small vase?]

Isn't it wonderful?]People have two parents, do they not? One can easily be born from a human yet have other blood in their veins, though it is nearly unheard of in my world.
no subject
It's beautiful. I'm fighting Scarmiglione. Right now. Eee~]Yes yes, I understand already. One of your parents wasn't a human. Perhaps if you just came out and said 'whose' or 'whats' blood you have within you, it would make this conversation run a lot smoother~

I started with the Interlude, then TAY; I'll do the original later~]Does your world have Lunarians? Or people who live on a moon, whatever they might be called?
no subject
Ah, I'm a sucker for doing things in order I guess.]As a matter of fact, yes. Our world has a number of Lunarians, as well as moon rabbits. Whilst our world itself is only home to a few Lunarians, there is an entire colony positioned on the moon itself~ [...] I hear they are quite technologically advanced.
no subject
I wanted the new shinies. And then I needed the canon review.]...You have both Lunarians and something resembling Hummingways? That's... It's the first time I hear anyone mention that they know about them. Do they have contact with others, in your world?
no subject
Fff I never thought about the delicious shinies. And I'm curious about the interlude too... Hmm~]Indeed, whilst we too have Lunarians I am not familiar with Hummingways. Though I imagine the reason you brought them up is because they sound similar to moon rabbits~? And yes, I believe the few Lunarians who live in our world and not on the moon have regular contact with others, both human and youkai~
no subject
It... has its faults, but it's enjoyable enough.]They indeed look very much like rabbits, though few rabbits wear clothing and manage stores. It's good to know that the people of both moon and earth can interact together, if only in other worlds.
no subject
...Faults? What sort of faults? ...It's just a little extra tacked on storyline that doesn't really fit in, isn't it?]I'm not sure about running stores, but the rabbits I have crossed paths with happened to be wearing clothes. [...] Though just because both interact and have contact with one another, it does not mean they have always got on well. At one point, these Lunarians replaced the real moon with a fake replica that would never become full~
no subject
13 hours less than advertised! Age retcons! Sealed Cave with Cecil, Cid, Palom and Porom, Demon Wall included!]Fake moons? That happens all too often in my world, though perhaps not under the same circumstances. But why were they so against full moons? Would it affect anything in particular, besides monster behavior?
no subject
hgksjdghv-- So like I said, an extra bit of tacked on VERY SHORT story. Wonderful.]They weren't against the full moon per se. It was to ensure any Lunarians would not come looking for them during the full moon~ And other than concealing themselves from the Lunarians, there was little else to it. The fake moon effected the coming of the Harvest Festival however, and the full moon turns any human who looks upon it insane~
no subject
There's a developper's room, at least?]Causing such trouble merely to hide from others... Was there no easier way? It must have taken much work to undo what they did...
no subject
Is there anything to do there past talking to the 'developers' though?]If there was an easier method, they did not consider it~ I believe the moon's princess Kaguya drank the Hourai Elixer, thus becoming immortal. She was exiled from the moon and took residence on Earth. To avoid being found however she hid the real moon after the Lunarians went looking for one of their emissarys who fled to Earth~
no subject
...A battle or two, maybe?]That sounds alarmingly like courtly politics. I suppose hoping that they were less omnipresent in certain worlds was rather naive of me. Did they ever all manage to find a compromise?
no subject
Oh. Pfft. Any awesome shinies to grab in there?]Oh, do you mean to say the Lunarians hold similar powers in your world~? And I don't believe any sort of conclusion was ever reached in regards to the Lunarians. Rather, Kaguya was forced to command her 'carer' Eirin to reveal the true moon again after the shrine maiden uncovered her plans.
no subject
Soma Drop, Golden Apple. Nice, but not amazing.]They can build whole moons with breathable atmospheres; it seems quite alike to me. Still, one has to wonder how long she was hoping to keep that false moon, with no interference.
no subject
So basically, all things considered... The developers room is a bit of a flop?]It's quite interesting how both of our worlds know of the Lunarians, and how similar they seem to be at that. Perhaps the moons of all worlds are home to the Lunarians, and they simply have yet to have been uncovered~ And I suppose she was not anticipating any interruptions on the part of Gensokyo's denizens and ended up gravely underestimating it's inhabitants~!
no subject
Yep. They put all of their efforts into TAY's.]If that is the case, could there be Lunarians in this world, too? Would they be allies of the Malnosso? ...I know little about your world, yet underestimating its citizens already seems to be a bad idea.
no subject
I've never touched TAYs. I was put off at first when it was being released on the Wii and all that... But now I have it on PSP I'll give it a shot after the main story~]What a fascinating theorem. Assuming there are Lunarians in this world too, they might not be affiliated with anyone. For all we know, these Lunarians might not know, or do not care, that we exist~ And yes, most humans underestimate my world's youkai due to their human-like shapes, but this just leads to said humans meeting a grisly demise.
no subject
It's either wonderful or terrible. No middle ground, apparently.]Considering the kind of power Lunarians generally hold, ignorance would probably be the kinder option. But I'd like to think that the people of my world would not make such a mistake. We're quite used to human-looking monsters haunting our lands, after all.
no subject
First impression? Terrible. All these side characters from nowhere...]They might well just be feigning ignorance in that case. They might be aware of our speculations as of now~ Though it is doubtful. And is that so? Can the people of your world really distinguish a human from a creature, even if both look exactly alike and neither speak or act~?
no subject
The trick is knowing which side characters are worth your time~]Well, I have to admit it'S rather easy to tell when said human-looking monsters are attacking you on sight. I suppose complete inaction would make it harder to tell, though being intent on giving grisly demises are generally the active type.
no subject
...There are ones who are worth my time? :|a]Oh but of course, if they are attacking the situation requires no thought~ But even so, what if said inactive threats were intent on bringing your demise, but they had the knowledge to go about it a different way. Not brutish and all-out, but rather in a more conniving and strategic manner.
If that were the case would your answer be the same?
no subject
Ursula is awesome. Ceodore becomes awesome. Leonora can be awesome.]It'd be more of a case by case matter, under those circumstances. Certain conniving manners would be familiar to me, while others would certainly take me by surprise.
no subject
I shall remember these names. I was thinking of using Harley too, even if she's useless.]What manners are familiar to you then~? The way you speak makes me believe you are no stranger to such contriving schemes.
no subject
How they managed to make Gil Toss useless is beyond me.]I'm familiar with beings who masquerade themselves as friends or comrades, mostly. Those were the most memorable of all.
