I cannot remember what sort of attack it was, but it must have been rather powerful to slay us so easily. Its range must also have been quite impressive, considering both of our groups were affected.

Rosa, Kain, Rydia, Edge and myself were supposed to explore the chambers first, to ensure they were not filled with traps. You were supposed to replace us once we found another of those teleportation devices, and to explore sidepaths until you found potential escape routes. Do you not remember?

They were for a while, but they went home months ago.

Magic cooking box? The only thing that machine wished to cook was human flesh. It was an advanced war automaton, with extremely powerful attacks.

It's some Thunder-magic creature. Rydia had better luck with it than we did, but it was quite feral and breathed fire. It had to be put down.

Why would a Thunder-elemental creature breathe fire?

I'm not sure. Tellah thought it to be some golem-mimic hybrid. There was something within it he pulled out once it was slain.
