15th moon [voice]
[As far as accidental voice messages go, this one is simple enough.
All that can be heard is the journal falling to the ground, and Cecil screaming in pain.
One cannot be expected to take the sudden and brutal loss of a somewhat telepathic father-son connection gracefully, after all.]

Oh god this is at terrible tag, I am so sorry.
Where I'm from, most parents aren't able to make good bonds with their kids [ pause. ] because they're dead. At least he has a luxury of a loving father that he'll be able to see and adore again! Your relationship is stronger than any distance, you know!
What terrible, this is beautiful.
...We both are lucky indeed. Yet this is the one good point of this world, is it not? Everyone is brought from different times; meeting dead, absent or future loved ones is always a possibility, no matter how quickly it may pass. Even the people from your land...
aww! thank you!
Hm, you have a point. A lot of people have the chance to see loved ones that were long one in their world. But, in a case where they're permanently gone, having them taken away the second time must hurt beyond words can express.

[Nope, he hasn't realized that they're sll slightly different.]
I've no doubt that they do control at least most of the Shifts. Some of the experiments cannot possibly be accidents.

Yeah. Like that horoscope thing, or turning someone into King Arthur, or more noticeably making the moon crash into the earth and having everyone hallucinate their deaths. [ Oh the fun memories! Look at all of Tenten's adventures while in Luceti! ]

[He was about to start rubbing at his own barcode, but her mention of what happened for Halloween makes him pause for a few seconds.]
...Falling moon are always caused by malicious intent, in my experience.
[Screw you, Malnosso, for those lovely flashbacks from home.]

[ She pauses before the tone in her voice shifts to obvious confusion. ]
You mean they had that event before? You're actually telling me they repeated having people hallucinate the moon is crashing into the Earth previously!?
[ Tenten's home has a moon that has the ten tailed beast! The moon is actually a seal for it. Yep. Normally there'd be a witty comment here, but no matter how hard I try to think of one, I'll never actually think of one. It's just too absurd and out there to properly mock. ]

Oh, no, not as far as I know. My world has to deal with similar events; I was merely comparing the two.
[His moons are all spaceships and they can only be reached by riding a whale. Moons automatically make a story fifty percent more ridiculous.]

How did your moon end up crashing into you? [ Have you ever seen a piece of fiction where the moon was just that? A moon? Neither have I! A moon by any other name is freaking crazy. ]

But man, does some of that sound familiar.]
...It's not quite our moon, you could say. We once had two; one left the planet's orbit years ago, and this one has recently appeared in its place. But it turned out to be inhabited by an being that uses it to consume planets that have evolved unsatisfyingly, including ours. And the previous one had a powerful Lunarian sealed within it by crystals, though he's since been defeated.
[...Way too familiar.]

[He feels really bad for both of their worlds, by now.]

[As someone who was an hour away from being rid of that particular connection, his sympathy is at its highest.]

Unless you're talking about our worlds in what's similar, not with revealing what's been linked for hundreds, if not thousands, of years.
